The existing legal document platform suffered from poor information architecture and suboptimal user flows. Their AI-powered document generation tool needed a complete UX overhaul to streamline the creation, collaboration, and management of legal documents. The Solution

We redesigned the platform with a focus on user-centered design principles, creating a clean, hierarchical interface with clear visual language that simplifies document creation and management. The new design features customizable admin panels with optimized information density, intuitive document templates with progressive disclosure, and AI-integration panels with contextual microinteractions that streamline data input. We implemented a consistent design system with atomic components, clear navigation patterns based on card sorting insights, collaborative tools with real-time feedback loops, and status indicators using appropriate gestalt principles for document tracking.

The Outcome

The redesigned platform transformed legal document creation into a seamless experience with significantly improved usability metrics. The new interface with its enhanced interaction design reduced document creation time by 60%, increased user engagement and dwell time by 45%, and significantly improved administrator efficiency through streamlined task flows. The intuitive design with proper information scent helped users easily navigate complex legal requirements while maintaining compliance with UK regulations, resulting in an 85% improvement in System Usability Scale (SUS) scores.
