We developed the MVP app using Flutter for a unified front-end experience and Solidity for blockchain integration. Features included biometric passport verification via NFC, a unique seal for article authentication, and QR codes linked to blockchain records. The backend, hosted on EC2, retrieves and displays real-time verification details through MongoDB. APIs like DMRTD ensured seamless passport scanning, while Sentry enabled real-time error tracking.
The app successfully streamlined journalist verification, ensuring transparency and trust in digital publishing. Authors gained a reliable platform to authenticate their work, while readers benefited from verifiable content. The app's intuitive design, multi-platform support, and robust security established it as a groundbreaking solution in media technology.
