We collaborated with the client to create two mobile apps: one for homeowners to monitor and control their heating systems remotely and another for professionals to simplify installations and maintenance. The objective was to provide an intuitive and efficient solution tailored to both consumer and professional needs.
Our client is a Sweden-based leader in heating solutions, specializing in energy-efficient technologies. They aimed to enhance user experience with smart, intuitive mobile apps for homeowners and professionals to manage heating systems seamlessly.

We developed two native mobile applications tailored to distinct user needs. The Consumer App enables homeowners to monitor and control heating systems remotely, receive real-time notifications, and adjust settings for improved energy efficiency. The Professional App equips installers and technicians with tools for Wi-Fi firmware upgrades, system setup, and product menu access, streamlining their workflow. Both apps were built using Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android, ensuring high performance and a seamless user experience. The backend, developed with C#, JavaScript, and .NET Core, provided scalability, while secure data storage utilized MS SQL, Cosmos DB, and PostgreSQL. To maintain quality and stability, we implemented a structured testing strategy combining manual and automated testing. Automated UI tests built with Java, Appium, and TestNG significantly improved test coverage, while CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions ensured efficient deployment. This approach minimized manual effort, accelerated release cycles, and enhanced app reliability across diverse devices.
Homeowners now enjoy remote heating control, improving energy efficiency and comfort. Professionals benefit from faster installations and remote updates. Automated testing reduced manual effort by 40%, accelerating releases and enhancing reliability.
