The Story

The portal was designed to reduce complexity and improve user experience through a microservices architecture. Initially optimized for the Swedish market, the client wanted to expand it to multiple countries and languages, ensuring a consistent experience across regions.

Our client is a Sweden-based heat pump manufacturer serving B2B customers. They aimed to develop a unified Customer Portal to streamline spare parts sales, troubleshooting, and documentation access across multiple countries.

The Solution

As a tester, I focused on functionality, performance, integration, and usability. Automated testing using Cypress helped verify smooth processes, while test cases were categorized by country to ensure localization accuracy. Dynamic base URL generation and parameterized test execution streamlined multi-country testing. Artillery was used for performance testing, simulating high traffic conditions to validate scalability.

The Outcome

Automation achieved 90% test coverage, significantly reducing manual effort and speeding up feedback loops. The portal successfully expanded across multiple countries, maintaining a consistent and high-quality user experience. The optimized testing framework ensured efficiency, scalability, and reliability for the global e-commerce platform.
